Clubspot Product Updates: May 18 — 29

A new historical member archive is just one of many features that Clubspot has shipped or updated in the past two weeks.

Private clubs manage a wide range of member experiences, from lodging and courts to membership reporting, dining, banquets, events, and more. Over the past two weeks, Clubspot shipped updates across lodging, membership, courts, dining, POS, vendor invoices, event dashboards, group classes, communications, and staff services.

These releases reflect the same product philosophy that drives Clubspot every week: build practical tools that help private clubs operate with more clarity, flexibility, and speed.

Historical Members Archive

Clubspot added a new removed members report to help clubs better understand member and membership status changes. The report identifies cases where archived members still point to active memberships, as well as active members connected to canceled or expired memberships, giving membership teams a clearer view of records that may need review, cleanup, or additional follow-up. Clubs can also configure removal reasons when archiving a member or canceling a membership, creating a more consistent way to track why records are being removed and giving teams better context over time.

Lodging: Member Day Trip Booking

Clubspot’s lodging tools now support member day trip booking, giving clubs a more flexible way to manage short-term visits without requiring a traditional room reservation. Clubs can enable member day trips from the lodging settings page, configure advance booking rules, manage availability for add-ons, and let members choose a date, select the number of people, optionally add lodging add-ons, and complete the booking through a dedicated day-trip flow. On the admin side, each add-on creates the appropriate itinerary and draft room-tab lines, while lodging add-ons and quantities now appear in the itinerary list, export, and filters for cleaner reporting.

Courts: Registration Holds for Booking Availability

Court bookings now include a registration hold once a user selects the duration of a booking, giving members and admins two minutes to complete the registration process after selecting a time. During that window, Clubspot holds the selected availability to help reduce conflicts when multiple users are looking at the same court times. The member-facing booking page also requeries availability every 15 seconds, and Clubspot now includes a new timeslot UI for slots with an ongoing hold, creating a smoother and more reliable court booking experience for both members and staff.

…And More

These are just a few of the latest updates from Clubspot. Other recent improvements include restricted banquet access permissions, a condensed smart tickets view, a cover count callout on the dining reservations dashboard, event tags for itinerary items, editable POS cover counts, order-level net revenue options for event dashboard charts, redesigned vendor invoice options support, global product autofill search, multiple instructors for group classes, drag-and-drop folder organization in document storage, and additional racing and regatta configuration options.
