Clubspot Product Updates: May 4 — 15, 2026
The ability to clone banquet events is just one of many exciting new features Clubspot has launched recently.
Private clubs run across a wide range of departments, and every workflow depends on software that can adapt quickly. Over the past week, Clubspot shipped updates across banquets, mobile ordering, communications, regattas, reporting, dining, web builder, vendor invoices, and more.
These releases reflect the same product philosophy that drives Clubspot every week: build practical tools that solve real operational problems for private clubs, then get them into users’ hands quickly.
Banquets: More Powerful Cloning and Payment Notifications
Clubspot’s banquet tools now make it easier for teams to manage repeat events and stay on top of invoice payments.
For v2 banquets, admins can now clone event orders with more control. Before cloning, Clubspot prompts the team to edit the event name, date, time, and event spaces, then checks availability for those spaces just like it does when creating a new event order. Cloned events can now also carry over line items, custom field responses used in custom BEOs, and itinerary-style event timelines.
Banquet teams can also configure admin notifications for banquet invoice payments. For example, when a BEO invoice is paid, the right team members can receive a notification with a direct link back to the event order.
Mobile Ordering: Custom Fields at the Location Level
Mobile ordering is now more flexible with support for custom fields at the location level.
Clubs can create custom fields that appear during the mobile ordering process and decide whether each field should show on the printed ticket. That gives teams a cleaner way to collect important order-specific details, special instructions, pickup information, or other location-specific inputs.
Custom field responses are also displayed in the order details on the POS, helping staff see the information they need without switching systems or tracking down extra context.
Communications: Forms Connected to Contact Lists
Clubspot communications now make it easier to turn form responses into actionable audiences.
Admins can connect contact lists to forms, so respondents are automatically added to the right list after submitting. That makes it simpler to build segmented communication lists around interest forms, event inquiries, program signups, and other member or guest interactions.
Email communications also now support a name merge field, giving clubs a more personal way to address recipients. This can also be extended to other forms of communication over time.
…And More
These are just a few of the latest updates from Clubspot. Other recent improvements include scheduled registration openings for regattas, hidden members-only events on the racing portal, partial addresses for social events, net sales in the social events admin table, cloned web pages, buddy groups for court and golf bookings, AI-assisted vendor invoice drafts, AI product categorization suggestions, and dining reservation improvements.
