A Smarter Self-Service Booking Experience for Staff Services
Clubspot lets clubs link staff services with the courts, simulators, swim lanes, or other resources required for each booking, creating a more reliable self-service experience.
Booking a lesson at a private club often involves more than reserving time with an instructor. A tennis lesson requires an available court, a golf lesson may require a simulator, and a swim lesson needs an open lane. Clubspot now brings those pieces together by allowing staff service bookings to automatically reserve both the provider and the resource needed for the appointment.
Previously, a member could book an instructor without necessarily securing the court, simulator, swim lane, boat, or other resource required for the service. Staff might then need to coordinate the resource separately, creating additional administrative work and the possibility of scheduling conflicts. By linking the two reservations, Clubspot creates a more complete self-service booking experience from the beginning.
Clubs can determine which staff service categories require a resource for every booking. They can also control which specific resources are compatible with each service, ensuring that a lesson is only assigned to an appropriate location or piece of equipment. When a member completes the booking, Clubspot assigns an available resource based on the club’s established hierarchy.
This automation gives staff greater control without removing their flexibility. Administrators can review the assigned resource and override the selection with any other available option when circumstances require it. That balance helps clubs automate routine scheduling decisions while still giving staff the ability to accommodate maintenance, programming changes, member needs, and other day-to-day considerations.
For members, the benefit is a simpler and more reliable booking process. They can reserve a lesson knowing that the instructor and necessary resources have been secured together, rather than waiting for staff to confirm the remaining details. For club teams, it means fewer manual steps, fewer overlapping reservations, and a clearer view of how instructors and facilities are being used across the property.
