Clubspot Product Updates: June 1 – 12

While legacy club software providers ship updates in months and quarters, Clubspot ships them in days and weeks.

One of the biggest advantages of using modern club software is momentum. Clubs should not have to wait months or quarters for meaningful product improvements, especially when their teams are solving real operational problems every day.

At Clubspot, we ship quickly because we build quickly. Our product team works closely with clubs, listens to real feedback, and turns useful ideas into live software at a pace legacy systems simply are not built to match. Over the past two weeks, that pace showed up across the platform, with improvements for POS, regattas, golf, dining, lodging, waivers, courts, reporting, member apps, and more.

Here are a few of the highlights.

POS: Stronger Controls, Better Kitchen Labels, and Flexible Service Charges

Clubspot’s POS now includes an audit log for restricted actions, giving managers better visibility into sensitive activity. Clubs can also show primary member indicators on member cards, add kitchen labels for option group options, and display product-level kitchen labels in the KDS.

Service charges are now more flexible too. Clubs can set custom service charge percentages based on party size, such as applying a 25% charge to parties of eight or more, and can also suppress the service charge from the POS when needed.

Regattas: Faster Results and Better Hearing Documentation

For our yacht club customers, Clubspot made several improvements to regatta management, including the ability to publish a PDF of the full decision for a hearing. This gives clubs a cleaner way to document and share outcomes once a decision is complete.

Scoring teams can also preview results directly from the scoring panel, including drafts and unpublished races. Results calculations are now significantly faster on cache misses, with average query times reduced by about 50% and up to a 7x improvement for very large regattas.

Member Experiences: Easier Bookings, Reminders, and Day-to-Day Updates

Clubspot also shipped several updates that make the member experience smoother across departments. When members tap a Clubspot link on their mobile device, they are brought straight to the relevant page in the Member App. This gives faster and easier access to features such as golf bookings, event registrations, and more.

Clubs also now have waiver reminder emails for Clubspot native waivers, staff booking confirmation emails, and more flexibility across dining shifts, tee sheets, courts, lodging, and group classes. These are the kinds of practical improvements that help clubs reduce confusion, save staff time, and keep member-facing experiences moving smoothly.

…And More

These are just a few of the latest updates from Clubspot.

Other recent improvements include availability heat maps for lodging, gift card descriptions, offline payment warnings, member feedback notifications, court time block edits, possible duplicate warnings for product autofill, scheduled report options, and more flexibility for reservable products.
