Lodging Availability Heat Maps for Private Clubs

Finding the right lodging dates should not feel like a guessing game. For private clubs with cottages, guest rooms, cabins, or other overnight accommodations, members often need to understand the broader availability picture before they know exactly when they want to stay. Clubspot’s new lodging availability heat map gives members that visibility earlier in the booking process, helping them spot open nights more quickly and plan with more confidence.

With this new feature, clubs can optionally display an availability heat map directly on the member booking page. The heat map shows overall lodging availability at the club by night, giving members a simple visual way to compare dates before selecting the details of their stay.

That matters most when demand is high. During holidays, tournaments, weddings, summer weekends, and other busy periods, members may be flexible on timing but unsure where availability actually exists. A clearer view of open nights helps reduce friction for members while giving staff fewer availability questions to answer manually.

Club administrators can turn the feature on from the lodging basic details page by enabling “Show availability heat map.” This gives each club control over whether the heat map appears in the member experience, while keeping the booking process simple and aligned with the club’s lodging policies.

The update also includes a refreshed room selection UI that better matches the rest of the booking flow and Clubspot’s modern design standards.
